Dr.G.Viswanathan, Founder and Chancellor of VIT University has penned down a book on M.G.R aka Dr.M.G.Ramakrishnan with the title ‘மூன்றெழுத்து அதிசயம் எம்.ஜி.ஆர்’.
VIT University:
Prior to the name VIT University, VIT was functioning as Vellore Engineering College (VEC) in Abduallapuram Campus at Vellore. Dr.G.Viswanathan served as Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) and Member of Parliment (MP) during the terms of late chief minister Dr.M.G.R. M.G.R had vision of ‘அனைவருக்கும் உயர்க்கல்வி’. Also it was during his period the land for VIT had been allocated to establish a college and give education to more.
M.G.R Book Launch:
Dr.G.Viswanathan who is an ardent follower and supporter of M.G.R had penned a book with the title ‘மூன்றெழுத்து அதிசயம் எம்.ஜி.ஆர்’. The book launch took place at VIT University on March 9. 2018 where Banwarlil Purohit, Governor of Tamil Nadu had launched the book.
The other attendees of the function were Sankar Viswanathan, Sekar Viswanathan and Selvam Viswanathan, Vice Presidents of VIT University. In addition, few other important political leaders like MLA Thiru.Durai Murugan, Dr. Nilofer Kafeel, (Hon’ble Minister for Labour, Govt of TN), Thiru K.C. Veeramani, (Hon’ble Minister for Commercial Taxes, Govt of TN), Thiru Sevvoor S. Ramachandran, (Hon’ble Minister for Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments, Govt of TN), Thiru G. Hari, MP (Lok Sabha).
