Vellore district 10th Results 2020 – recorded a 100% pass percentage following TN State Govt’s 100% pass percentage G.O.

This comes in effect due to the pandemic situation which made TN Education board in a situation not to conduct board exams.
Following this State Govt, released a G.O which highlighted the following:
- Promote all 10th students to the next grade with 100% pass.
- Distribute 80% marks weightage from Quarterly and half yearly results
- Remaining 20% from student’s school attendance.
- A total of 9,39,829 who appeared for 10th State board to be made pass by this.
Vellore District 10th results 2020:
In a nutshell,
- Vellore Education District consists of Thirupathur and Ranipet district students in it.
- A total of 50,916 students appeared for the 10th state board exams from Vellore Educational district.
- Based on Govt’s all pass G.O, all these 50,916 were promoted with a pass grade.
- Vellore has the second highest number of students next to Kanchipuram which had 52,741 students.
- By this all pass, Vellore will be the second district with highest number of passed students in TN.
- Notably, previous year’s pass percentage of Vellore district is 89.98%
- Vellore stood as the last district out of 32 districts during previous year.
- Notably, Vellore is one among the district with highest number of schools and students in TN.
- It is also one among the district with highest number of Govt and Govt aided schools.
