Vellore district 10th results 2019 for TN SSLC board is shown below:
Tamil Nadu SSLC results for class 10 were out today. The overall result percentage was 95.2% which is 0.7% percentage more than the previous year.

Total number of school students appeared – 9,76,000 (24,000 less than previous year)
Overall Pass percentage of boys – 93.3% (0.7% increase)
Overall Pass percentage of girls – 97% (0.6% increase)

Number of Schools – 323
Total number of students appeared – 25,709
Total number of students passed – 21,915
Pass Percentage – 89.98% (previous year – 85.24%)
Notably Vellore stays at the bottom of the table securing 32nd place out of 32 educational districts.
Also, it is the only district which adapts more number of schools and students all over Tamil Nadu which could be the reason for its low percentage.
Vellore education district includes Tirupattur and nearby areas under Vellore educational district.
But considering the kind of good educational institutions and facilities available, Vellore needs to be up to par with other districts in the race. We have world class architecture, medical facilities and colleges available and fall short behind in the higher education segment. Previous year, there were petitions submitted to divide Vellore education district into three, so that the overall pass percentage can be evaluated better. That would help in concentrating more on the weaker zone and improve the educational facilities.
